Client user guide

A guide for client users — the people who log into a branded client portal to view their organisation's assets. Share this page with your clients.

Logging in

Your MSP provides a login URL that looks like https://yourcompany.atechsolutions.org (or a custom domain like assets.yourcompany.com). Open this in any web browser. Enter the email address and password your MSP sent you — or follow the invite link they provided to set your password.

What you can see

Your portal shows only your organisation's data. You cannot see other companies' assets, even if they use the same platform. The sidebar contains:

Viewing assets

Go to Assets to see everything tracked for your organisation. You can search by asset tag, name, serial number, or model using the search box. Filter by status (available, deployed, maintenance, retired), category, or location using the dropdowns.

Click any asset to see its full details: what it is, where it is, who has it, its purchase cost, warranty expiry, and complete checkout history.

Submitting a hardware request

If you need new hardware, upgrades, or replacements, submit a request rather than emailing your MSP directly — everything stays tracked and nothing gets lost in an inbox.

  1. Go to Requests → New Request
  2. Enter a clear title and a description with as much detail as possible (specs, quantity, needed-by date, business reason)
  3. Set the priority
  4. Click Submit

Your MSP will update the status and add response notes as they work on it. Check the Requests page to see progress — there are no email notifications, so check back periodically.

Exporting your asset list

If you need a spreadsheet of your assets for a board report, insurance filing, or audit, go to Assets → Export CSV. The download contains all assets in the current view (apply filters first if you only want a subset).

Managing your team (client admins)

If you have the Client Admin role, you can manage users in your organisation from Team:

Changing your password

  1. Click your name in the bottom-left of the sidebar
  2. Go to Settings → Change Password
  3. Enter your current password and choose a new one
  4. Click Update Password

Getting help

Contact your MSP if you need help with the portal. Do not contact Tether directly — we provide the platform, but your MSP manages your organisation's account.
